4.30.11 Startrails at Ob Hill after the Castle Rock trip. The auroras were out this night.

5.1.11 Was my day to volunteer at the greenhouse. It is one of those rare places on station with full spectrum light accompanied by warm, humid air, and lots of freshies and greenery. Pretty much heaven.

5.7.11 self portrait. decided to visit hut point this evening, glanced up and saw some faint auroras. was skeptical of how the lights would show up so close to McM's light pollution. wounded up being pleased that they picked up ok. however, as this was a timer delay shot, lots of atempts and running back and forth were involved to get the timing and lights right.
