Fri 3.18.11. Looked up on the way back from Karaoke night at Gallaghers and saw the funky light behind white dome. Knew a moon was coming up (did not realize it was the Perigee moon coming up until the following day), and waited in chilling weather for an hour or so as the moon slowly made its traverse across the hill. McMurdo Station, Ross Island, Antarctica.
Sat 3.19.11. Had some nice night shots toward hut point, but the computer ate my file. So what is left from the day is this shot of McM Station Plaque outside my dorm. Not exciting, but at least can still claim a daily pix. It was also rather cloudy, so the perigee/super moon did not make a spectacular appearance.
